The pumping application uses a different kind of pumps. Different kind of pump system such as pumps with non metallic wear parts , low-speed pumps, centrifugal pumps, high speed pumps etc is available. Why should one use centrifugal pumps

Integrally geared centrifugal pumps are preferred in India now-a-days. These centrifugal pumps are fairly simple. They use kinetic energy to move the liquids. The low flow pumps in India has an engine attached to the axis similar to that of ship’s water wheel. While most of the integrally geared centrifugal pumps are used for water, some of these low flow pumps in India are also used for sewage and chemicals.  Because of the direct conversion of the energy, this is a very simple pump.
